Journale TV Channel Branding Strategy

Brand Identity
Design Problem
The client sought to develop a complete brand identity for a new TV channel, Journale, including a logo, visual identity assets, and a promotional campaign.
Solution
To begin, I conducted thorough research on competitors and analyzed the target audience to inform the design strategy. The logo was created using Adobe Illustrator, with a concept centered around a paper airplane, symbolizing imagination and creativity. This unique element sets Journale apart from its competitors. The airplane flying over a cloud evokes themes of exploration, travel, and discovery. The color palette was carefully chosen: yellow represents excitement, while blue conveys freedom and openness. For typography, I selected Futura, known for its modern and efficient appearance, while ensuring the font’s readability from a distance, which is essential for on-screen visibility.
For the promotional campaign, I selected a mix of magazine ads, Instagram posts, bus shelter advertisements, and billboards. These platforms were chosen to maximize reach and effectively engage our target demographic, ensuring broad community awareness of the new channel. Together, they will help establish Journale’s presence in the market and drive viewership. Additionally, I created a mockup for the website, ensuring cohesive branding across digital and print media.
